Waste & Recycling

Published: 27 March 2020

At present, Cornwall Council’s waste and recycling collections are planned to continue as normal. Personal waste such as used tissues and disposable cleaning cloths should be stored securely within disposable rubbish bags. These bags should be placed into another bag, tied securely, and kept separate from other waste. This should be put aside for at least 72 hours before being put out in your usual external household waste bin. Other household waste can be disposed of as normal. For additional advice, please visit www.gov.uk.

All 14 of Cornwall Council’s Household Waste and Recycling Centres are now closed until further notice.

Cornwall Council cannot take any new orders for bulky waste collections at this time. Collections that are already booked will be collected in the future once the situation changes.
