The Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Edinburgh

Published: 9 Apr 21

On behalf of the people of St. Enoder, I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Her Majesty the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family on the sad passing of Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, who gave a life of duty, integrity and respect to this nation. A pillar of servanthood to our beloved Queen and this nation. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time and their grief is shared by people across this county. The Duke of Edinburgh had deep and longstanding ties to Cornwall and enjoyed many a Cornish pasty on his visits to Truro, Fowey and the Isles of Scilly. Many of Cornwall’s children have benefitted in their Education from his patronage of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. Cllr M Bunyan- Chairman. Read More...
