50 PROPERTIES ST COLUMB ROAD

Published: 16 March 2021

As local residents will be aware, last year, a planning application was submitted to Cornwall Council for the construction of 50 properties at St Columb Road, on land at the rear of the new development opposite the Doctors’ Surgery.

The Parish Council opposed the scheme and it was turned down by the unitary authority, but the developer has appealed the decision to the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol.

St Enoder Parish Council is presently preparing a detailed representation on behalf of local residents, which will set out our objections to the scheme. It has to be submitted to the Inspector by 23rd March.

Parish councillors know that the proposed development does not have public support, but we need to demonstrate this to the Planning Inspectorate.

If you would like to object to the development, please print out this letter of objection and return to St Enoder Parish Council at Foxleigh, Treviglas Lane, Probus, Truro, TR2 4LH. Alternatively, you could scan the completed letter and email to clerk@saintenoderparishcouncil.org.uk.

Please ensure that we receive your letters by Monday 22nd March.
